The Lone Sentinel

As the glowing sunset sky fades to dark a lone bison bull stands on a hill overlooking a valley as if he were a sentinel on guard over the herd.

This painting is from a compilation of images. The bison I drew, the sky was a photo of a sunset taken from my driveway and the valley is based on the view to the north of my home.
